This legislation changes state procurement requirements. For instance, it exempts the purchase of new light duty motor automobiles built in Georgia with a gross vehicle weight under 12,500 pounds from state bidding requirements. It also increases the bidding threshold for state supplies, materials, equipment and services from $5,000 to $25,000. |
